How to Join as a Government Contractor aka "Buyer"

Register As a Government Contractor

Register or log in as a Government Contracting Company (buyer). We require government contractor's to provide their D&B # and Cage Code when registering. We use it to validate active SAM Registration.

Proof of Active SAM Registration

We created GovPros to serve Government Contractors, so we require all companies to provide their D&B # and Cage code during the registration process. We use the provided information to verify an "Active" SAM status.

If your company is not registered yet, No worries, we will point you in the direction of vetted registration service providers. Once your company becomes active in SAM, we will change your account status to " SAM Verified."

Step Three
Hire one or a Team of PSPs

There are three ways to order

1) Post an RFQ to get offers from trusted Procurement Service Providers and view profiles.

2) Search our PSP profiles based on your specific search parameters, find the right PSP for you, and submit a request for quote along with your requirements.

3) Become an Enterprise Client – Enterprise Clients receives and dedicated account representative to help with building a Government Services Marketing Team of pre-vetted PSPs, to ensure they possess the skillsets and qualifications necessary to provide you with top-tiered procurement support services.

Company – The Process

Our PSPs are ready to help you get registered in SAM, get one or more socio-economic certification(s), find contract opportunities, prepare proposals or quotes, manage contracts, and assist in the event you need representation for a bid protest. Our Professional Service Providers are pre-vetted, skilled, and experienced.

Find a service that you need

Compare prices, profiles, experience, delivery time, and community recommendations in order to find a PSP that best suits your needs. If you have a specific question, simply send them an enquiry.

Post an RFQ

No time to search for a PSP? No problem, submit an RFQ and post it for every service provider within that field. It is vital to be as detailed as possible so the PSP can provide you with an accurate quote and the quality service that you are expecting. Your payment is held secure until you confirm that the service is performed to your satisfaction.

Manage transaction

Once you choose an offer, schedule a project kickoff meeting and set the project parameters. Projects get managed through the Participant Workspace that acts as the core hub for projects where all the related information can be accessed and contained within the online environment.

Approve service delivered

Once you are happy with the service performed, mark the transaction complete, and we’ll make sure that the PSP gets paid. Help the community by leaving a feedback for the PSP.

Buyers (Government Contracting Companies) can choose to purchase services from an Independent Consultant (PSP) or a Consulting Company (PSP). Both PSP type have been vetted and verified by the GovPros Verification Department. So, you can order services with confidence and know that you are working with skilled service provider..

1. Building your profile and posting your service offerings

Building a great profile

It is also vital that you complete your profile and don't forget to take the time to add your experience, certifications, and award recognition. This helps a potential client decide if you are the right person for their project quickly. Think of your profile as a snapshot of who you are and what you do. Use an actual picture of yourself as your profile picture unless you are an agency or registered business.


Create a service offer

Create and post as many service offer that is in line with your skillsets. Ensure you are specific regarding the services on offer, so your clients will know what they are getting for the money they are paying.

2. Communicate promptly

Respond to companies enquiries, RFQs, as well as requests for custom offers, within a reasonable time. Good communication is a prerequisite for successful business.

3. Build your reputation

Ensure you treat all of your customers the same and try to provide the best possible service regardless of the transaction value. Satisfied customers will recommend you to their colleagues.
